Keeping on...even when I dont want to.

Sunday, April 08, 2012

I have started excersing.

Just walking and wearing a pedometer.

I get tired and want to give up. I am tired and sore and want to never do it again. I feel fat and overwhelmed by the weight that I have to lose.

But my husband encourages me to keep going and he says you have to start somewhere.

So I will keep walking even though I don't want to...

It takes a bit to create a new habit so give yourself some time to adjust. It will happen and I know emoticon ! God loves us way too much to leave us stuck where we are. Trust in His plans to help you become a healthier version of yourself. emoticon

I am proud of you for being honest about your feelings towards walking. Kudos to your sweet hubby for supporting you in your efforts. It will get easier and believe it or not you will get to a place where you will eventually enjoy it. Just keep at it, and when you start feeling better, increase your distance and/or your intensity.

I hated the "E" word when my journey began, but have now 6 years later ran 6 5K races! Who woulda thunk it?

"Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right."~Henry Ford

They say you are what you eat, that includes words. You have a dream, a goal and tools to get you there, you have external support...now support yourself! Your thoughts have power...give yourself a reason for walking. There are a lot of SP success stories accomplished simply by walking and some strength training. When thinking about taking a walk, think I want to lose 2 lbs (?) this week, and walking is going to help me do that. State that positive and fuel the power in you! emoticon
