Wk 2 I gained 2 back! Thanks to dear mother nature and me not drinking enough water. My fingers tell the story they look like baby cucumbers!
But HAHAHA the 2 pounds have been served!
I am on spring break and ENJOYING it! My youngest is taking a college tour this week so it is just me and my oldest oh and the pupster! I finally treated myself to my mani/pedi and it felt so good. It was my AHHHHH after running around for the teenager for the last 2 wks. She got hers on Sunday and she was soooo happy. (these type of things are treats for us)
I did a month membership at a yoga studio. She also offers pilates, zumba, tribal dance, a class called BAM(Butt, arms and midsection) Yo-chi-lites(a combunation of yoga, taichi and pilates) and a few more classes. I took the tribal dance on Monday..... fun but what a work out. Normally this is a class I cannot take because of my work schedule so it was great to take advantage!
Those who know me know my struggle with exercise cough my past struggle with exercise. I think what is helping me now is I am mindful of the benefits. I am sleeping better I have more energy and I am not having night flashes as often. Most of all I am not allowing the stress of my job to keep me distracted! The stress is there but I just stop breath and get to an exercise class.
My dilemma is 59.00/month is a lot(Yes I am worth it) But it is still a lot. I have to sit down and look at the figures. I have a gym membership at LA fitness(since they took over Bally's) and it is not costing me anything now(as my old bally's membership was 5.00/yr) I do go there on Sundays for Zumba and I am going to start doing some strength training. OYE decisions decisons. WELL right now I will just enjoy this month and especially this week! The manager said "take every class you can" AND I AM!
Oh and NO MEAT FOR 41 days! Saturday it ends. Not sure which way I am going. I think I will end up a flexitarian. No meat during the week. Oh well we will see!
Love you Spark Family and have a wonderful week!
