Trials makes us stronger!

Monday, April 02, 2012

Okay, after someone suggested that I post and share my last 2 weeks and hopefully it will help others..

These last 2 weeks have been full of trials. First I lost someone very dear to me, so the greving began. Then a freind was taking time to train me and the weather (snow) perventing driving to workout for several days, my 2 front tires are bald. My power stearing is going out. My car window was busted out during the night and all my workout gear was stollen including, 1 backpack that I had all my kickboxing gear in. 1 sports bag that had all my swimming gear in. Not to mention that my car insurance does not cover the stolen items or the window to be replaced. I get Pink eye so I go to the Dr. and get medication, during which I have a seziure in front of the Dr. My Dr. phones the next day to see how I am doing and clearly tells me I am not to drive that my husband must drive me from now on. Then our cell phone goes out and we have to get a new one.. My theripist has heart problems, I have to see a new person.

So, I could either sit on the couch for days on end crying and stuffing my face saying to myself " WHY ME" or I could pull my boot straps up and move forward. I chose the 2nd choice... Today is a new day! Over the weekend I went and got new boxing gloves that were on sale, I bought a new bike lock ( stolen also in break in) and orded a new swimsuit on line that is on its way and I am going to bike to the local YMCA where I work out. I look at these past 2 weeks as a blessing, by not being able to drive I am getting more exercise by riding my bike... I still feel violated by my car being broke into but hopefully exercising will ease this feeling.
