149ibs, Plateaus, Gwyneth's detox plan

149 this morning ! I haven't been below 150 since before my roller derby injury :)
I've been in a plateau the last few weeks, so it feels really good to see some progress. Birthday celebrations and St Patty's day drinking probably didn't help. They were fun though, I have to live a little.
Me and my Fiance on St Patty's Day. We rode our bikes to a party at the neighbors. Splurged on corned beef and lots of good local beer. It was a good night :)
I want to get more physical activity. So I lifted weights last week for the first time in a while. I really over did it. Was sore for 3 days ! Came down with a head cold along with it. I don't like to exercise when I'm sick; I prefer to let my body use it's energy to fight off the virus. The cold is just about gone now though, just some sniffles left. So it's time for me to try again. I'll be taking it easy this time.
When I can afford all the produce, I've been making lots and lots of healthy vege juices with the Breville. My fiance drinks it too :) He prefers the carrot ginger celery apple mixes over the mean greens. My new favorite is adding beets to the mean green. I really love drinking the juices, like drinking liquid sunshine ;) My complexion looks better, and I just feel healthier all around. Easier to wake up in the morning as well.

I won't be following that plan exactly, but she has some good ideas in there. Some I'm not so sure about. The olive oil/castor oil for instance. Sounds fishy to me. I do plan to try that Cucumber avocado soup though !
