losing track and motivation

Friday, March 16, 2012

Well it's been 10 days since my last blog. Let me start off with things aren't going well. I've been battling another migraine for many days now and am losing track of myself and the days. My decision making skills go in the toilet when I have a migraine. I haven't been logging food because I know I am not eating enough calories along with the other necessary nutrients. My nausea and head thumping is almost more than I can bare but I am determined not to go and lay in a hospital bed for 6 days just to get rid of it.
To be perfectly honest, my calories are almost non existent. I am drinking plenty of water and unsweetened instant iced tea with splenda in it. I know this is not the right way to lose weight and to be honest I never drop a pound in starvation mode. I am taking my zofran for nausea but it's not working like I think it should. I haven't weighed in lately because I've probably packed on a few pounds since my body is storing every calorie it can get it's hands on (so to speak). When this migraine decided to go away I will weigh in and get right back on track.
Take care my friends

Its definitely hard to be motivated when you are in pain, and even harder to eat with migraines! Hopefully they will go away soon so you can get to feeling better.

I hope you feel better soon. Focus on what you need right now to get you there. It's a journey, good days and bad. Just don't give up..When you're better, your motivation will come back.
