Feb recap, March goals...and pictures!!

Hey spark people!
It’s March already?! I can’t believe how fast time is going by this year already! Lots to catch up on…

So my youngest daughter turned one last month on the 18th. We had a “look whooos turning one” owl themed party with lots of family and friends. It really was a great time. Everyone always tells us that Bailey is like a little doll and when we took her in for her well child visit we found out that she is 28” in the 17th percentile for height, and 19 lbs, the 30th percentile for weight. She is starting to stand on her own not holding onto anything and is walking about 2 steps and then just flings herself at whatever she is trying to get to, it’s a surprise she hasn’t hurt herself!! Macayla (who is 3 now) was standing by herself at about 11 months and walking by her first bday but Bailey is enjoying being the baby I guess :) Here are a plethora of pics from her professional session as well as her party....

In the last few days I have signed up for many races this summer so I’m starting to schedule in my training runs. I am doing the Rock and Roll Seattle Half Marathon in June and the Ragnar Relay Northwest Passage in July. I have a bunch of smaller races in the meantime like YMCA resolution runs, I am going to walk in the March for Babies, and I also signed up to be a zombie in run for your lives! I’ll have a wide variety of crazy activities for this summer!!

According to my schedule I am going to run 38 combined miles in March (running only 1-2 days/ week) because I still have swim lessons, Macayla is taking basketball at the Y, and I plan to continue ST, spin class, kickboxing and pilates WHEW! It will gradually increase….in May my schedule has me running 65 miles but it’ll be easier at that point because the days will be longer so I can actually go running at 7 pm to where as now it gets dark by 5:30!

My weight STILL isn’t budging much...I’m not too entirely frustrated by it anymore; apparently I’m EXCELLENT at maintenance. I really want to reach 100 lbs weight lost (9 more lbs!) at SOME point but I’m just not in a rush because I feel like being fit is so much more important than being “skinny” and I know as I become even more active this summer my body will just continue to change.

I think I am going to make an appointment to get my body fat checked again in about 2 weeks. Last time was in December and I was at about 24% (measured by calipers).
Ok I should get back to work; my boss is in the office! :)

The pics are super cute! I am supposed to be running the Full RNR in June if I can come up with the money and I was super tempted to do the Ragnar as that is my b-day weekend, but I decided to run the Olympia Lakefair Marathon instead.
