Update on sister

Tuesday, February 28, 2012

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and concerns. My sister's major surgery (kidney removal) went well, Praise God!. She is recuperating, still has lots of pain, and some other very uncomfortable issues that come with surgery, BUT her attitude is very positive and we are all thankful that things are as well as they are!

I haven't been able to "spark" much, but I'm still here and trying not to gain weight due to the stress and not being able to exercise as much. My type II diabetes has been more difficult to control due to stress and not being able to eat as healthy as usual--but I am aware of it and striving to make better choices.

Thank you and blessings to all--gotta go get on the treadmill...I'm determined to do what I can!

I am so glad to hear the good news about your sister and will be praying for her continued recovery as well as your stress level and diabetes. Know that God is working it all out for both of you and your families. I've been sorta MIA from Spark and am trying to catch up some. Love & blessings, Marcia emoticon
