Simple Diet - Day One

So today I weighed in - 287.5 - I'm down from my highest weight of 289.5 of two weeks ago. My short term goal is to get back to the 270's...my long term goal is 182.
So far today I have had a chocolate shake for breakfast and a cheese ravioli lean cusine for lunch with raw veggies on the side. I'll be having another shake in about an hour.
How'd I get here? Well...after a decade of holding within a couple of pounds of 27o the stress of taking on caregiving for my elderly parents-in-law and relying far too much on fast food for nearly three months now pushed me back into a gaining phase and I need to get a handle on it sooner rather than later. Given that same situation continues now I needed something that was as "easy" as running through the drive-thru. Preportioned frozen meals seem to fit the bill. This is the beginning of the chronicle of my progress.
