Changing my attitude

Thursday, February 23, 2012

Usually a night off at the gym wold result in me doing nothing at home. Yesterday morning when I was thinking about last night I thought that after dinner I would work on cleaning out the area around the TV so that when we order cable the cords won't be in the way. While I would be cleaning that my husband would also do some housework as well,as he has kind of taken on the kitchen duties. Well, he didn't want to do anything. I could of done nothing too, but I did not. I tidied up the living room/ TV area. I felt accomplished.
This morning I got up and folded a basket of laundry and after breakfast I did a load of dishes so my hubby doesn't have any many to do.
I also got my gym clothes ready so I will be ready to go ASAP after work because works always runs late on Thursdays because of the staff meeting.
I wish my husband would join me more in a my quest for a healthy lifestyle. He is ok with "dieting" but as for changing our lifestyle, I don't feel his commitment. It is not to helpful for him to say "I want ice cream, after working out an h9ur at the gym". Oh well, I can lose this without him!

Great way to think! YOu can do this without him and eventually he will feel left out because you're busy doing things around the house and working out- he might just join you just to be able to spend more time with you!!! remember, you can't change others, only yourself. Keep up the great work!!!
