The only difference in the pictures below is 6 lbs. The beginning of January compared to today.

My weigh-in is tomorrow, but this morning's scale still reported good ol 211, so the weight in the picture.

I'm in the process of giving myself my 40lb loss reward: A painted kitchen. Much more involved than just paint.
They wallpapered right on the drywall, so it is a very slow process to remove the wallpaper to avoid damaging the wall too much. The wallpaper is on the ceiling as well, so I'm stripping that as well. I spent a solid 4 hours spraying vinegar water, pulling, scraping, scouring with a paper tiger, and climbing up and down a ladder.
Once the wallpaper is gone. I have to go repair the wall in places I got a little too rough with the scraper, and some of the plastered edges that were cracked and came up with the wallpaper. Then comes the sanding, then the priming, and maybe by the time I turn 30, I can finally paint. Any tips and tricks are appreciated.
