halfway point

It's hard to believe that the biggest loser challenge is half way over. I feel like only yesterday I was applying for a team. I have made so many new and encouraging friends, even though we will never meet they have had an impact on my life. When I started the challenge 6 weeks ago I hoped to lose 20lbs in 12 weeks. So far I have lost 9, so I'm right where I should be. This has been a big month for me. My daughter turned 3, we decided to have another child, and I have been sick with the flu :-/ Today I am beginning to feel better and I'm recommitting to myself and to the Blue Believers. I have done well with my diet (for the most part) only a few small indulgences. It's the exercise that has been most difficult for me. It's not physically difficult for me to exercise, I just don't make it a priority. But that is changing today. I hope than in the next 6 weeks I can reach my goal of 20 pounds lost, and I'm also hoping to be wearing a smaller pant size. I've been a 20 for almost a year, and I'd love to fit back in those 18s by April. Excited for where this is going. Praying for myself and for all my teammates.

here is a great Spark article about diet vs lifestyle change shared by one of my BLC team leaders, brenda:
