SALLY_G73: We all have personal preferences on what motivates us. CrossFit does it for me and all it hardships. To each's own.

No, bloody hands are not a badge of honor. All it means it that you over-did it and injured yourself.

I am a runner, and if I over-did it and tore a muscle or sprained my ankle or did something else to injure my body, I would not be proud. I would be mad at myself for not listening to my body when it told me it's time to back off.

To me, bloody hands is a trophy. So is skinned-up knees, ripped clothes, etc. Funny how the nay-sayers on this site never have a SparkPage to respond to especially when it comes to CrossFit...

Why does Crossfit have to keep publishing photos of people with bloody hands? I do not exercise to get bloody hands. I exercise to feel better!
