Weigh in # 21 and a revelation.

So I've been hiding for a few days. I didn't make my Belly Laugh's goal by 1 lbs.
From Tuesday :
My weight before weigh in: 212
My current weight: 211 (- 1, -.47%)
Total lost to date: 49 (18.85%)
I was SO close. I went into sulky mode. I haven't been eating like I should - even though I'm within calories. I've been having some relationship drama lately so I haven't been sleeping good. I wasn't even hydrating the way I should. I didn't exercise ALL week other than taking the dogs out for potty time.
This morning was different. We cleared the air out Thursday night, we had dinner with another couple last night at a Japanese place (Super Delicious), and I woke up this morning refreshed.
I went out with Riley for a long overdue run. We did fantastic! I thought I was taking it easy, by jogging a block or two, then walking a block. But by doing that, we managed to average a pace of 13 min/mile - 0.4 min/mil faster than what I did on the 5k in December. I barely have any congestion left, so I'm sure that's a huge factor in my speed and endurance. The run was 2.925 miles in 37 minutes. Now that I'm over this illness, I need to get serious about running again. I'm going to do Week 5 starting Sunday, and see how that feels. Too easy? Go to Week 6. Too hard? Just keep trying.
We have planned a nice day at the park with the dogs, So there is much more activity left in the day. The scale wasn't as kind as I wished this week, but like I told a sparkfriend this morning : "That number on the scale doesn't define your success; the changes that your lifestyle creates do."
