The Germans--the hatch and determination!

Wednesday, January 25, 2012

Tess (The GS.Pup) is 5 mos---and over 40 pounds---
Yesterday was "Spa Day" for both Germans--(as in dogs)--
I was ready to load the crate into the back of the 4X4--and-----the hatch wouldn't open!-
"Oh no""---- I need to put the puppy into her crate, after it is loaded into the back---then Coal (the 120 lb German) goes into the back seat--
This was at 7-30am---
A new day-----and already it was starting all wrong!

Anyway, to make a long story short---- It is still not opening--the rear hatch---turns out there is something wrong with the locking thing on the door--after me driving it to the dealer-- They will work on it to-morrow----
The 2 Germans did get to the groomer--after me making several trips to and fro with 1 at a time---
I had to mentally talk to myself as I did the drive , in and out---
How often do we just ""call it quits"" when faced with what seems like an inpossible situation??--Lordy Be----All I could think of yesterday, was, Spark's quote--""If it's going to be, it's up to me!""
Spark not only helps us make healthy food choices-----it gives up determination, in what seems like impossible situations--LOL----
Anyway----The Power company would be proud of me this A.M.---the washer is chugging away----the treadmill will be soon too--

Climbing the stairs instead of taking the escalator saves time and tones legs.
8 ounces of chocolate milk has 115 more calories than 8 ounces of skim.
Be your own boss- Don't give in when friends ask you to just try a little dessert.
Rewards---Less weight in your car, more miles to the gallon!
Lordy !--so much to think about----
So---Be kind to old ladies Sparklers-- maybe chat awhile with them!--

GOOD MORNING SPARKLY FRIENDS!!!!

Glad the Germans did get their Spa Day! Tess is adoreable!

Oh, the power company would be proud of me, too! Got TWO loads of laundry done before 6:30 am. Dang . . . now I have to do ironing. HATE ironing. Oh well. Walked on the treadmill while the laundry was going so it was a "two'fer" morning. Actually a "three-fer", because after I got the laundry going and into the dryer, and finished the treadmill, made a pot of chili (crockpot). So....then decided time to spark!

Yikes . . . gonna be 58 next month and just don't know how that happened! My DD tells me that makes me O-L-D, so if I talk to myself, does that count as being kind to the 'elderly'?? LOLOL My DD would think so anyway. **SIGH**

Glad you still see the good in it all!

    Tess, what a cutie!

My trunk will no longer open with the release button or my remote, so now we need to open it by key!

Oil change next week, so they will be fixing it then

Glad you made a good day of it no matter that silly hatch.

Some times, it is just best to go with Plan B.

    Do have a GREAT day.
