grrreat gym day, good news and a trip!

Saturday, January 21, 2012

Yesterday morning I got up and went to the gym (like I have been doing most days.) I did my normal 10 mins on the bike then 8 mins on the elliptical and 10 more mins on the bike. I got off the bike and felt great so I got back up on the elliptical and did 12 minutes. This is the part that I realize is not huge to other people... but to me it is. See before after about 2 mins I would fall right off. The trainer actually asked me to not use it anymore because I am not so graceful. So for a grand total of 20 mins on the elliptical I am darn proud of myself. I felt great the rest of the day and was even able to wear heels and go shopping without being sore!

Now on to the good news, My bf just took a different position and will be working mon-thurs and we will have a real life! Not only that but he can now go to the gym a couple days a week with me!!!!!!

More good news, resulting in a trip... the bf is really into photography and by photography I mean like with film and chemicals and a dark room. Anywho... he submitted a couple photos to a gallery in NY that takes around 45 and had over 1400 enter. HE GOT IN! So, we will be going to NY in march for a few days to see his photo hanging at the soho gallery. I am so darn proud of him. MUST get in shape for all that walking! MUST fit into those cute jeans hanging in my closet! MUST stop typing and do leg lifts :)

Your blog made me laugh. Congratulations to your boyfriend! That's incredible! A gallery in Soho, wow. Oh and enjoy your normal schedule. My fiance was on Sunday - Thursday's for a while and man it was annoying.

That is a huge deal to me.. the most I have done on the elliptical at once so far is 12 min (but I'm working on it). Good work. Also, that is awesome that your bf can work out with you. It has really helped having Tom with me :) he keeps me motivated! Congrats @ him and have fun on your trip.
