THE FIVE YEAR OLD IS NOW SIX YEARS OLD

Friday, January 13, 2012

The last I wrote I attempted to express my surprise at being able to keep up with a very active, creative, caring, loving and supportive grand-daughter. I knew I would have trouble keeping up with her in every category she had mastered at the age of five. I also knew that this Granny needed to step up and be counted. I joined Spark in March of 2011, I was walking 1 mile a day around my daughter's 7 acres when there and 1/2 mile when at home. Now it is 2 miles at my daughter's and 1 mile at home, and can climb five steps not three without stopping for a breath. ~~~ Am I good - NO - I am Great.~~~

Now that she is in Kindergarten, Granny is brushing up on what will be happening the rest of this school year and the next.

Got my serve back with volley ball and pitching is getting better. working on my sprinting but, me thinks I will leave that for MOM and DAD. Stepping 2,00 to 4,00 a day when weather good and if nice will walk 3-4 miles without shortness of breath or chest pain or heaviness in the calves. Weight loss staying at goal and inches are melting away. To think Spark Friends, it is only the 13th of January. Believe I have found my soul buddy. Sincerely, believe without this child I would not be the healthy and wiser person I am today. Sincerely, believe without this child I would not be enjoying Life and My Little Princess as I am. She is My Supporter, My Motivator and My Encouragement ... She is God's Angel on Earth for Me.

Ask yourself, can you keep up with a Six Year Old? ....... Well, I Can.
