I had a realization today that 200 lbs by my 24th birthday (on February 26th) isn't really a pipe-dream. I have 7 weeks. 14 lbs to go. That's just 2 lbs a week. I can SO do that. I could exceed that with some super exercise and cleaning up my diet. 195 is my half-way mark; 65 lbs down, so this is just me trying to get to that point. I will have lost a quarter of my body weight by then. That sounds so crazy, but it's only 19 lbs away.
I got up at 4:30 this morning, had breakfast, had the blender explode on me. The bottom wasn't screwed on tightly enough and strawberry smoothie went everywhere. After I cleaned that up, salvaging what I could. I had my eggs and ran off to circuit class. That was some good working out. My legs are already sore from it. The highlight when a large gruff macho man that never speaks to anyone came by and patted me on the shoulder, saying " You're doing great,sweetie. Keep it up." He could have said "You're smelling ripe, smelly. Clean it up." and I wouldn't have known, but I choose to believe it was the first one as that pat is what I needed to get me through the rest of that workout.
I'm going to work on doing some sort of exercise each day, so I joined the 28-day bootcamp challenge. I need to get back on track with running, but I'm still coughing. I don't want to over-do it, but I don't want to do nothing either. I laid back for a week trying to get better. I'll probably go for a gentle run tomorrow morning, as I love to run now (did I really just say that?!), but I promise I won't over-do it.

    You can reach your goal..or be pretty darn close to it.
    You will be in one-derland! My birthday is March 14 and I'm 11 pounds away from my goal weight. I can reach it...or be pretty darn close too. I need to make exercise a priority to reach it.

    Good for you for getting up early in the morning to workout.
    I would like to workout in the early morning again, but can't seem to go to bed by 9pm in order to get up by 4:45am. I've realized that I need to plan my exercise in the evenings during the winter months.

    BTW...How is the one veggie at dinner going? emoticon
