Set Back Already?!

Yesterday I met with a dietician. I signed up for a 12 week weight management program through my doctor. The dietician and I went over goals, took a starting weight, and took a "Before" picture. After our meeting, I ran errands and snuck in 40 minutes on the treadmill before heading to an evening meeting.

After the meeting, my lower back starting aching. I woke up this morning and I could barely walk! All from 2 days in a row on the treadmill?! I play golf 2 -3 times per week so it is not like I am inactive.

I called my chiropractor this morning and am waiting for a call back. I really wanted to hit the gym again today, but I can barely walk. Additionally, I am playing one of the best courses in Southern California this Sunday. I have to get better just for that!

Hopefully, this is temporary!

    I hope the chiropractor was able to get you moving again! There's nothing worse than actually wanting to work out but not being able to because of injury! 2012 will be our year!

    Hope the Chiro can help you out. I guess there is a reason why the saying "everything in moderation" has been around so long. I have to really work at pacing myself or I hurt myself or wear myself out and quit.
