Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012

Saturday, December 31, 2011

What a year 2011 was for me and my family. I must say I am glad to see it go but know 2012 will not be any easier for us. My motto for this new year is going to be one day at a time. I really need to worry about today and not get ahead of myself.

To start this, January 1 will be back to NO WHEAT for me. As I have made my rounds through both sides of the family since Thanksgiving it has been rough on the No Wheat diet. Today I can honestly say I know where my joint pain and inflammation is coming from. I am looking forward to new recipes and seeing how we can enjoy some old favorites without the wheat.

I would like to say thank you to my wonderful spark friends. It is a great honor to call you friends. Thanks for being there for me this past year, motivating me and saying just the right thing when I needed it most. I look forward to fun challenges and some late night chats in 2012.

May all of us( and our families) have a better 2012 mentally, physically and emotionally.
Happy New Year!

We are so fortunate to have each other to rely on in the difficult times. I know how difficult it has been for you to stick to your diet with all the travelling that you have done in the past few months. However, you have discovered what it is that gives you such discomfort, and I know that with the inventive way you have with adapting recipes, you will succeed in reaching your goal.

Happy New Year Bre - see you on the team!
