So I have been doing really good with the weight loss. I have been watching what I eat especially at work where I tend to graze. I am down 13 lbs in a month which is awesome. I have been rocking the Zumba DVD's at home that I have which I love. Bad news......what I thought was bursitis in my hip from my elliptical overuse this summer has been diagnosed as an IT Band injury! During my workout on Tuesday night it felt like I had been stabbed in the hip. It has been sore, stiff, and bothering me for months but now it is just a pain in the butt! Dr said I need PT and anti inflammatory meds. She also told be to take it easy with the workout. Why? Why now that I have been consistent and looked forward to a workout do I have to stop or cut back? It just stinks! emoticonAnyone else have any experience with an IT band injury and ideas of what I can expect out of PT? I am pressed for time during the day so want to get the best idea of what to plan for. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and keep at it!
