Do you drink alcohol? What do you generally drink?

Rarely. Incredibly rarely do I drink. I don’t particularly like alcohol, so I find it not worth my time, money, or calories/points. When I do drink, it’s generally only one of whatever I’m feeling like – either a “frou frou” drink or a glass of red wine. I’m lucky that I really don’t preference more than this, so it makes it easy to depend on it or have to account for too much. Plus, when I do drink too much, the hangover the next day costs me the next day (not even out of sick, but just blaaaahhhh) AND I eat like a maniac to soak up the booze. Just SO not worth it anymore. I’m too old to lose a day :P.

So today, a funny quote I wish I’d known the truth of in my formative adult years :P.
“One reason I don’t drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time.” ~ Lady Astor

I am a big fan of the artful cocktail or a nice glass of scotch or whiskey. I try to keep it in check and drink water or skim milk most of the time.

Up until aobut 2 months ago, I rarely rarely drank (with the exception of weekly bowling where I had ~12oz of beer). Now that I've been making friends though this book club I've been drinking more b/c we frequently have tasty tasty white wine (which it turns out I really like). Soooo I drink more now than I did, but it's only something I do socially with particular people.

I think I had 4 or 5 drinks this YEAR, lol! I use to drink way more than that but it's really not worth the calories, headache and for me the sugar (I loved fruity drinks). I really don't miss it either.

I drink maybe once or twice a month, and it's usually just a glass of red wine or two. My tolerance is super low and I get hangovers easily (I'm talking headache the morning after 3 beers easily), and drinking usually leads to me thinking fast food is a great idea, so I skip it.
