I'm back for good!

Sunday, November 27, 2011

Hey there Sparkies! I've been away for a good month now....I've fallen off the wagon big time....but am back! I have to be! I found out while I was away that I am allergic to milk proteins! I've cut out anything and I mean anything made with milk and have felt soo much better!! Around the same time I was researching vegetarian diet and the benefits...so needless to say I've also cut out meat except for eggs. I've been doing this for the past week and have felt sooo much better in soo many ways!! It's the best thing I've ever done as far as eating goes! I know it's not for everybody but it is for me! I haven't been counting my calories this past week but I've lost about 6 pounds! I'm going to start watching the calories starting today and going to start exercising tomorrow! My hubby is starting to eat better with me although he's just counting his calories but I'm proud of him!!

I hope this blog finds you all well and happy sparking!

I'll be here and counting for the rest of my life - for me it is a great trade-off to being obese again.

Welcome back! Glad to have you here with us again!!

Kudos for you! I also just came back after... well, longer than a month... and I've backslid a bit (well, a lot) as well. I've been a vegetarian for years now, with cheese being the only animal product I eat. But... I've been packing on the pounds again. So, I'm making the transition to a Vegan diet as well. I'm starting with a 10 day juice fast, but then making the final switch!

The health benefits are going to continue to show, and you're going to feel better and better!
