Today I turned 51 and I must say that I had a good day despite the fact that I could not talk secondary to this respiratory virus. Started getting sick Monday afternoon and despite my best efforts it got me....But my daughters fixed me breakfast and they cooked Thanksgiving dinner! I was "allowed" to cook the candied yams.....
I am grateful for my health and my children and that I am employed.
OK now moving forward!!! There are 365 days to 52. I want to accomplish something that I have not been successful at by 50 or 51......... REACH my GOAL WEIGHT!! SIGH!!!!!!!!! BIG SIGH!!!!!! So how much weight is this approx 35 pounds....
So why should it happen this year since it has not happened up to now. Well I have no logical answer except that I still want to loose the weight. That is why I am still here. I must give myself credit that I have managed to loose and keep off 6 pounds without a lot of head banging LOL
So I will spend the next 365 days working towards that goal. If I take the longest road at a little over .5 pounds per week(avg) it would take me just under 1 yr. I think this would be the closest method to "easing" my way to weight loss with continuous improvement as my goal!
I also want to deal with my acne more aggressively and that means going to the dermatologist. UGHHHHH I really don't want to do antibiotics but I cannot get it under control with natural methods. And my acne is triggered by stress and hormones. And I have a lot of that going on right now!
I need to QUIT waiting until I LOOSE the weight until I buy clothes, shoes etc. I have slipped back into that mode again this year.
This is what I need to accomplish within the week
1. Make an appt with the Dermatologist
2. Put myself in the my spending budget for clothes.
3. Look at my schedule for the next week and plan my exercise days
365 and counting!
