Truth, it was only 1/2 pound - wardrobe is FULL

Thursday, November 17, 2011

So, the mystery of the scale. Not a real big unsolvable mystery, but something to ponder anyway.

I weighed before the cruise, the day after the cruise and then on my normal day.

When it was all said and done, the day after the cruise was up 5 pounds, and three days later my weight was only up .5 pounds. Hallelujah.

Thank you SparkPeople, you have been a lifesaver.

Now, I need to get back into the grove, I feel that I am not as focused as I need to be.... my logging of my food is way off track, lacking actually, ok, it is just non existent.....

On to the Full wardrobe - or closet - whatever. Another trip of shopping in my own closet almost brought me to tears. In a really good way. I rediscovered some of my favorite things. Pink Jeans, lots and lots of jeans, shirts, dress pants, dresses.... I'm almost there. Almost where I was one decade ago.....

You guys are the best! emoticon

I can do the same! I have clothes ranging from now to 150 lbs ago and I am looking forward to getting them out - as a lot of the smaller ones I have never fitted into. I've lived in hopes that one day I will. emoticon

Wow, how did you lose almost 5 pounds? and then only gain point 5 of a pound? was that in one day or a week? The most I ever lost in a week was three pounds and that was when I could not eat for 24 hours due to a test I had to take... no eating for twelve hours! Two pounds of it was water I am sure! Because the average person will put on two pounds of water a day! Good going! I alway try any trick to lose but find the best way to lose is eating less and drinking more water. Great loss!
I added you....love the Harley (It is a Harley isnt it? Looks like it!)

Wow .... Wow ... Wow ... That is fabulous! Isn't it funny that you probably thought several times over the years that you should get rid of all those clothes you would "never wear again"! You go, girl ... THAT ROCKS!

likes the idea of shopping in your closet i had a funny re clothes when i was recovering from an accident, my entire wardrobe consisted fo scrubs for work. so i had to invest in some new clothes then about 8 years ago and some pieces now are starting to fit loosely so another 20 pounds and maybe a decrease in size warrents a shopping trip. hanging in there.

I love the "shopping in your own closet"! That is such a trip when you can fit in clothes that have hung in the closet or sat in the back of a drawer for such a long time. GREAT news!!! keep up the good work!!!
