Adjusting

I started work today and it was awesome. I missed it so much. With that though, comes a shifting schedule. I have been trying for weeks to shift my routine to the early morning. Gym classes are at 5:15 and I start work at 7 each morning. I live about 20-30 minutes from gym and work depending on traffic, so my rump has to get up by at least 4:30 in the morning to get a quick breakfast, grab my lunch, workout bag, purse, etc and head out the door. It's going to be tough, but I'll make it.
I woke up at 6 this morning, so I was able to get to the gym and get a couple of circuit rounds done before freshening up and going to work. Thank goodness for circuit. I didn't have to be at work till 8:45 since it was my first day, and I got a good workout in before hand. I was pumped and ready for the day. I just went out with Riley for a run. It was interrupted by my full stomach knotting up at first, then a very adorable toddler wanted to pet the puppy. I couldn't resist his chubby-cheeked, noonie-in-mouth face. I kinda made up the rest of the way and sprinted a couple of times in the mix because Riley wanted to ZOOM. I had fun with the ZOOMing. I forgot I could go that fast, though I can't maintain it for very long at all. One step at a time. Trying the structured run thing again tomorrow to see if I can't break that 3 minute mark.
I did well with temptations at work. There are snack machines and soda machines galore with card readers hooked up to them. I don't bring money into the building with me to counter that. Though I forgot my water bottle today, so I was a little parched. Water bottle is packed in tomorrow's gym bag, so I'm ready.
