My Personal Holiday Challenge DAY 12 Results

1. Log my nutrition EVERY DAY
2. Try real hard to stay within my calorie range
Went over around 50 calories.
3. Get some form of exercise in EVERY DAY, even if it's only ten push-ups
Did fifteen pushups
4. Continue my water intake at 72 oz per day
5. Work on getting said chunky butt to bed at a decent time every day.
Too busy; didn't get to bed until 11:30
6. Post daily results on my blog page (at the suggestion of SURLYGIRL)

Weight - no clue, didn't touch the scale today
I have to say a C for this one. I really didn't put in much effort.
What I'm learning:
By knowing I need to post every day, I'm paying more attention to my actions. I'm logging all my food, which means I may not be always staying within my range but I'm aware of how far outside of it I'm going. I'm more conscious of what I'm eating this way.
I'm doing a minimum of pushups every day, so I'm learning adding a little exercise on weekends won't kill me.
I'm learning my actions affect others, as I have spark friends watching me and some are using me for inspiration - which means I'd better behave a bit inspirationally!!!
I'm learning that even when I really don't feel like doing any of this, I CAN do at least some of it.
I'm also learning about my perfectionism. If any of you know about flylady.net, you know the goal is PROGRESS, not PERFECTION. I'm learning that I've had a major tendency of "If I can't do it right, don't do it all". I'm learning that I can do something, anything, and it helps, even if it's not done "perfectly". So I may not stay within my calorie range, but I'm aware of what I'm eating. I may not get a whole lot of fitness minutes in, but I do some exercise. It's better than sitting on the couch stuffing chips in my mouth and not even trying.
