Review of October Goals & List of November Goals

On October first I listed the following goals. Today I am going to evaluate how I did. Here goes.
My goals for the month of OCTOBER::
I joined Weight Watchers ...Goal: attend all meetings this month (that's once a week on Saturday) Yes, I went this morning. (YES, I ACCOMPLISHED THIS GOAL 100%)
Stay with in my 29 points each day...and track my foods that make up those 29 points. (I TRACKED MY FOOD FOR ABOUT THE FIRST THREE WEEKS THEN I QUIT BUT I TRACKED OFF AND ON WITH SP TO MAKE SURE I WAS IN RANGE AND I HAVE BEEN EXCEPT FOR HALLOWEEN WEEKEND WHERE I ATE THREE BOWLS OF SOUP DURING THE DURATION OF ONE PARTY 75% ACCOMPLISHED)
Attend church every Sunday...starting tomorrow (UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE OF LACK OF MONEY I HAVE HAD TO RESERVE MY GASOLINE FOR WORK AND HAVE NOT HAD MONEY FOR GAS TO GO TO CHURCH OR DO ANY EXTRA RUNNING. I DID ATTEND HALF THE TIME 50% ACCOMPLISHED)
Also starting tomorrow is my first "Made to Crave" class...goal...attend all the "Made to Crave" meetings (SAME STORY AS ABOVE, NO GAS ATTENDED HALF THE TIME BUT DID WORK ON THE BIBLE STUDY PART AT HOME ALTHOUGH I MUST CONFESS NOT CONSISTENTLY 50% ACCOMPLISHED)
Try to work harder by parking farther away, taking the stairs, etc... (I DID INTENTIONALLY PARK FARTHER AWAY PART OF THE TIME BUT I DID NOT DO REALLY WELL WITH THIS AT ALL...BOO HISS....10% ACCOMPLISHED)
Make better choices in the type of food I eat (WOOHOO...FINALLY ONE I CAN HONESTLY SAY I DID EXCELLENT ON. I MAY HAVE OVER DONE MY PORTIONS ON HALLOWEEN BUT THE SOUP WAS STILL A VEGETABLE SOUP AND GOOD FOR ME SO MY CHOICE WAS STILL GOOD...100% ACCOMPLISHED)
Watch my portion sizes and keep them reasonable NOT huge... (I DID EXCELLENT ON THIS ONE AS WELL EXCEPT LIKE I SAID ON HALLOWEEN SO I WILL GIVE THIS ONE A 99% ACCOMPLISHED)
Overall, I would say I had a very good month. During the month of October I received my 10 lb ribbon from Weight Watchers!
So I lost 10 lbs in the month of October...WOOHOO!
OK, so let me learn from last month and let me set my November goals...
I have to lose a total of 18 lbs to reach my 10% body weight lost goal for weight watchers that means I only have 8 more lbs to go. I would like to do that in the month of November. That would require a 2lb a week loss and I do not think that I will be able to realistically do that based on the fact that in October I lost 6.2 lbs the first week but every week since then I have only lost 1.2 to 1.6 lbs a week. So, my realistic goal is to lose 4.8 to 5 lbs this month.
1. Lose 4.8 to 5 lbs in November
I have started going to the YMCA after work everyday. I do not go on the weekends but I try to stay active so I won't lose what I was able to gain during the week in energy and ability and muscle. This week I have gone from a 21 minute mile walking to a 19 minute mile 7/8 walking and 1/8 jogging. By the end of November I hope to be able to jog for one whole lap which equals a 1/4 of a mile.
2. Jog one whole lap on the treadmill at the YMCA for the equivalent of 1/4 mile...
I have also started using the stationary bicycle. I have been doing 2 miles. At first it took 13 minutes. Now it is taking me 11 to 12 minutes. By the end of November, I would like to be doing 3 to 4 miles OR using a preprogrammed training plan on the stationary bicycle even if I don't get all the way through because of the simulated hills and stuff.
3. Do 3 to 4 miles on the stationary bicycle OR be working on completing a preprogrammed training module on the stationary bicycle.
4. Do thirty tummy crunches on the large exercise ball by the end of the month. Currently I am only doing 10 to 15.
5. Continue to make healthy food choices that do not have a bunch of sugar
(although I am not eliminating sugar completely mentally, but I must say because I have mentally allowed myself to continue to have sugary foods I do NOT have them or crave them...that seems strange to some of you I am sure, but ever since I was little as soon as someone, usually mom or dad, said, "You can't do this or you can't have that" that is all I would think about and then I would become determined to get the "forbidden fruit" so to speak, so as long as I (mentally) allow myself to have sugar; I am determined to resist it.
6. Keep a close eye on my portions sizes. (This is going to be tricky with Thanksgiving coming up.)
7. Continue to go to Weight Watchers Every Week!
8. Try to set back money for gas for Church so I can go; if, I canNOT get there listen to church on the internet (my friend's church puts there sermons on the internet)
9. Get into my Bible Study and stick with it expecially if I canNOT go to church!
10. Track my food everyday on SP. Starting yesterday NOT November first because I already missed some so this one starts today.
OK, that should do it...I'm off to begin my month long journey to 5 less lbs on me.
