Week 5 Day 1 5k Training

My shins did not hurt! YAY! emoticon
However, my ankle was hurting, and I was more out of breath. Riley was a dream as he has been these days, but I was off my groove. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'm icing my shins and ankles now, and applying heat later in the day. Maybe that will alleviate all the pain, but I was excited to run without my calf hurting. I wore my pedometer on my hips and it read 2.93 at the end. I don't believe that, so I just put 2.3 since I did start out faster than normal. It was warmer today than it has been in the past, so that's possibly why this was so difficult. I need to get up earlier
I start work back in 13 days, so I need to get in that habit anyway. I'm excited to start work back. Less stress about money.
