Love these days of Indian Summer

Thursday, October 27, 2011

Unfortunately for me, I Goggled the Wikipedia article on Indian Summer and it was not a "happy" definition. Wow, after all these years without being enlightened, I thought Indian Summer was a nice description of otherwise nasty fall and winter days. Oh well, I suppose I qualify as being old enough to qualify as an old dog, so I won't let the computer teach me any new tricks on this one. I'll stick with my tried and true definition (whatever that may be) and view this wonderful Indian Summer day with awe and wonder.

It's a lovely day in this neighborhood.

Not certain what you looked at but I goggled (googled) it also and found that it was what I always thought it was. A period of higher than normal warm weather after a frost. The picture I saw was very beautiful. It reminds me of the days I used to spend at my uncles cabin in the Ozarks when I was a lot younger.

Anyway enjoy it while you can. Have a great day. emoticon emoticon
