Was not as disiplined as I wanted to be last week...

and the scale didn't move. I'm glad it didn't go UP but I wanted it to go down a little. So I'm taking my 3 day weekend to get prepped for the final journey to my GOAL weight. After I reach that point then I'll work the maintenance... which I'm sure will be easier because I have most of the tools (even an eye opening fall back and slight weight gain). But I stopped it before it took over.
I began by shopping and stocking up on the foods that I enjoy and a few snack items which are available if I want them. I got exercise this weekend - one of the things I don't seem to want to do (I have the time but I also had too many excuses). I danced Saturday night for hours, I mowed the lawn yesterday and then danced a bit later in the evening. Today I got out all the measuring tools and began weighing, measuring and TRACKING. I've decided I'm going to track the night before with planned meals and snacks. I'll try to wake earlier and fit my strength training in before the coffee. This means I have to get to bed earlier at night. I'll do my cardio after dinner (which is usually dancing because I enjoy it so much) and I'm going to try to get a walk in either during lunch and/or before dinner. Even if it's only a 10 minute walk it's a starting place.
On the weekends I'm going to try to get out for a walk, hike or maybe even a bike ride. Have to enjoy the fall weather before the cold comes. I do have a few home repairs to do so I'm going to have to schedule my time to fit everything in. And I WILL. I'm determined to reach goal before the holidays as it's my birthday present to me this year.
I like having a solid plan in writing -- not some vague "I'm going to do it" because that has not worked for me.
I'm off to enjoy the rest of this beautiful day. I have much to accomplish still which includes some "girlie" time for me - a bit of badly needed pampering.
