I don't want to make this a sad blog. Today would have been Lonnie's birthday. He was my Nephew. I was only 8 yrs. when he was born. So he was more of a little brother in ways. Lonnie died in a accident one month before he would have been 15. That was back in '73. I can't believe that much time has gone by, and to this day I think of him daily. I still have his jr. high school picture framed. I just wanted to give him honorable mention because it is his birthday.
I was out taking pics in my front yard. My dragonfly decor
I can imagine that you loved being an aunt at 8 years old and doted on your little nephew. So sad that his life was so brief, but I'm sure you contributed fun moments to that life, and he to yours. 3092 days ago
So sad, but a nice tribute to him. I had a cousin who was killed in a car accident on Christmas Eve on icy roads many years ago when he was 18-we were close when we were kids and I know what you mean- think of him often. So sad to lose them so young! photos as usual! 3098 days ago
