Pole Dancing Classes???

Ok so today I went to my very first pole dancing class and it taught me a valuable lesson...I have no upper body strength what so ever. I could not do any spins, no tricks, no nothing. Now this is the part where I usually get discouraged and I pout and give up but I am not doing that this time. I am determined. I am going to go to the gym and I am going to build up my strength and next time I set foot in that class I will be able to do a spin! Just one...I dont know which one, I guess which ever one gives the least pole burn, which hurts...bad...very bad. emoticon

    No time for discouragement and pouting :-) Take the fact that you couldn't do it yet and use that to motivate you to get stronger so that you CAN do it next time.

    Sometimes the things we cannot do end up being our best motivation. Also, keep in mind while you are strength training that building muscle burns fat 24 hours a day.... And if you do it consistently for like a month or two, you will be so much stronger AND leaner which will help you with your pole dancing emoticon emoticon
