So... I went to another conference this week and I thought I would be able to make pretty healthy choices and go for lots of walks...well... that didn't happen. Instead I ate tons of candy and basically never got out of my chair. A friend of mine sitting behind me at the conference literally had 8 water bottles filled with candy and he would pass them out whenever the conference got boring, calling them "happy pills".
When I got home I decided that instead of thinking of this as "falling off the wagon" I would instead think of it as an exercise in what happens when I follow this "diet". Well, no big surprise, I gained 3.5lbs.
I felt awful all week like I was going back to my old ways and I often noticed that I can eat foods I want when following a diet, I just can't eat until I feel like I want barf. (and really lets be honest, no one should do that!)
This week I am going back to an oldie but a goodie! I am going to do one of my previous plans that I know will take off a big chunk of this weight and will get me back into the mode of only eating at meal times. I am looking forward to it!!
