So.. I was at Walmart. Looking at the active wear on sale, when I told myself that I needed some bike shorts. Why? Cause I'm tired of chaffing like crazy when I jog and sweat.
Well Bike shorts weren't on sale, but they were fairly cheap ($7) as they don't have the padding. I was looking at the sizes. They went up to my size in jeans (20) and I thought that I would get the size smaller, even though they are bike shorts, as money is tight and I can't afford to be buying more shorts in a month or two when I go down a size. So I grab the (16-18) and check out.
I get home, and try them on, expecting them to be super snug, but I wanted to know what I was up against. I start pulling them up my legs, no resistance yet. OK, they must not go down as far as I thought. I get to my upper thighs and still waiting for them to start strangling my legs. NOPE! I pulled them up over my hips and they fit great. They are fitted, but not like a sausage casing like I was expecting. I even think I might be confident enough in them to run without shorts over them.
That made my day, that bike shorts a size smaller than I normally wear fit perfect. Soon enough, I'll be looking like this chick.
