I let it happen!

I was doing so well. Finally I had made it to 183 and was feeling good. Then the 5 day cruise came along. I had a plan. Eat within reason, drink plenty of water, and get at least 3 days of exercise in. Drank the water and hit the elliptical in the gym 3 days.....yeah! The food was soooooo good! Really did the moderation thing, but added things that were not on my normal menu. Mind you, I was looking good! My family and friends were so proud of the weight loss and my exercise commitment. Low and behold, on the last day I noticed my feet were a little swollen. But the time we were at the airport heading home, my feet, legs and thighs were so tightly swollen it was unreal. They felt so heavy and itchy. The darn sodium had gotten me! When I got on the scale upon reaching home, it read 196! What the heck? I immediately went into recovery mode. Water, tea, fruit and veggies were the staples for 2 days. Between Friday and Monday morning I had lost 8 pounds of water retention weight! Wow! Now my struggle is the get this other 5 pounds off! I am at 188! Noooooo!

My plan is set and the goal is to be back on top of my game and at 178 by October 29th (Magic City Classic game).

    Vacations are soooooo hard. I swear no matter how hard you trip to be good at least the water retention happens. Good luck! You can do it!
