Day 60 of the 90 Day FabFit Challenge

Just had to share my progress so far! I am totally amazed since I wasn't seeing a weight loss, I didn't think much progress was being made. I like being wrong!!!!!!!


Measurements - 7/10/11 and 9/10/11

Chest:
7/10 - bra band: 32 1/2; 9/10 - 32" (-.5)
above bra band: 36 1/4

Upper Arm:
7/10 - L - 12.5; 9/10 - 12 (-.5)
7/10 - R - 12.25; 9/10 - 12 (-.25)

Waist:
Natural waistline:
7/10 - 32.5; 9/10 - 32 (-.5)
Lower waist (or the poochy part at belly button):
7/10 - 35.5; 9/10 - 34.5 (-1)

Hips:
7/10 - 40.25; 9/10 - 39 (-1.25)

Thigh:
7/10 - L - 23.5; 9/10 - 22.5 (-1)
7/10 - R - 23.5; 9/10 - 22.5 (-1)

Weight:
7/10 - 144.2 (most I've ever weighed)
9/10 - 141.2 (-3)

Total changes on 9-10 - 6 inches and 3 pounds lost!

For this 90 day Challenge I would like to accomplish the follwoing goals:

1. Lose 14 lbs
2. improve upper body strength
3. Tone up all over to look better in clothes and so clothes will fit better.
4. improve bone health
5. develop and maintain consistant eating and exercise habits.

Notes for 9/10:
Goal 1:
While I am disappointed at not losing more weight with all the work I've been doing, at this point I'm not going to worry about it since I have done well losing inches. In fact, I may hide the scale for the next month! That does not mean I don't want to see the number go down - hopefully that will come with time - I just need to focus on fitness and strength - the rest will follow.

Goal 2 - 5:

Goals 3-5 are well on track. my body feels leaner, taller and posture is improving. Am still having neck and upper arm strengh issues, but yoga is helping and I am considering seeing an orthopedic doctor for an assessment, since I know there has been degeneration and some osteroarthritis in my neck.

Started the C25K program on 9-4-11 and will have to see how the body takes the pounding. Have completed the first week, but did not run until day 3 (yesterday) so I'll have to see how my hips and knees feel later! I plan to repeat week 1 just to increase strength, since I haven't been walking alot lately. Doing minimum 3 sun salutions daily has been amazing - it really helps with the back and neck, so I am hoping for lots of improvement in that area and for now I don't plan to go back to the chiropractor for adjustments!

I have been alternating doing yoga and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, with some type of activity everyday and really feel like my body is getting strongerand my energy level is definitely increasing!

Kudos to the FabFit team for all the support and encouragement. You all are such a big part of my success right now! emoticon emoticon

Off now to do yoga, yard work and finish shopping for my daughter's baby shower next week!
