This chapter was pretty uplifting to me. I've always heard that helping other people can help yourself feel better, and have a greater purpose. I guess i feel like sometimes most of my concentration is on myself whereas perhaps if I redirected those thoughts toward other people worthy and reaching out for encouragement, a hug, or support ... I'd find my fulfillment and satisfaction in the long run.
Maybe I need to think of the cause and affect in other aspects besides just my fitness and health. Perhaps I need to start thinking more about what other's need and want, and put my own happiness and feelings on the backburner. I always end up going back to how I feel, or what I need, or what I did wrong... etc. It's time to think about other's, and to make a difference, and to realize that there are people out there who need something from me; a talant or quality that I have that could be used to better the world.
