Doncha just luv this Lady?-----Ha Ha--
A holiday--Labour Day, to-day-
As a kid, in high school, I remember Labour Day parades. My older sister and I twirled BATONS--We took lessons---We could throw the sticks in the air, catch them, and keep marching along.--Well, most of the time--- We had routines , set to ""marching music".
Every Labour day, there was a parade in the city we lived in, and we would go in it, near a band , who would be playing some music one could march to.
I remember one particular parade, we were positioned not directly in front of a band, but a team of horses was directly behind us--then the band--
And so-----as you can imagine, throwing the batons in the air as you moved down main street, the batons didn't always fall back into my hands--sometimes, it fell under the horses--and there I was trying to catch my baton, which had rolled under their horse shoes--Whatta mess! Funny how I remember this always on Labour Days as they roll on--makes me laugh---
Anyway, I must tell you that even tho my calories were too high yesterday, I journaled , and didn't eat snacks, and the ol' weight is heading ""down"" in the right direction. I must be a perfect example of, ""never giving up""-
It looks rainy and windy outside this A.M.--looks like a season is ""rolling"" on out---
