It's been a difficult week...emotionally. Today was not what I had planned...had the day scheduled as a vacation day but ended up in the office anyway...doctor's appointment where they did a blood gas test that was, and still is, very painful...my car is acting crazy (transmission issue)...but I am in a better mood tonight because:

My daddy is letting me drive his vehicle until mine is repaired --- gotta love some daddy; I had dinner with my family; and the best part...watching and listening to my mama and her sister in the kitchen cooking...they both are so much like my grandma (who I miss terribly) in looks and in how they talk and they are as sweet and cute as they want to be...family...that's what has made my week and day end with a smile instead of the tears from earlier. Love them!!!

    You are a beautiful person!

AWWWW . . . sorry you had to have a blood gas draw. They are definitely painful! Hope the results were good.

Sooooo glad you got to spend good time w/your family. I am going to see my parents next weekend and it is just such a special time.

    Take care of you!!

I'm sorry your week didn't go as planned. The "blood gas test" does not sound like fun. You're right about family, though. It's so important to cherish them.

I love my grandma too. I am lucky enough to still have her. She is the best. She's sharp as a tack and feisty as they come. She's a real hoot. I am glad I've had so much time with her. And I hope I have a lot more.

Sounds like a nice dinner........I enjoy my family and spending time with them too.

I hope your car can be fixed quickly and that you are feeling better soon.

My daughter is a respiratory therapist and draws blood to measure blood gas. She says they are painful for the patient and sometimes difficult to draw since the draw is deep......in an artery rather than a vein. I'm sorry it was so painful.......

    Take care
