One foot in front of the other

Well, my surgery was three weeks ago and so far I am healing well. I am now able to drive and my dr wants me to walk a mile a day. That's about all I can do at this point. Bummed I can't start yoga or running back up until November, but baby steps.....

Now I need to really stay focused since I am not as active as I used to be and am limited to what I can do. I think I might attempt some swimming tomorrow as the dr also said I can get into the pool. We'll see.....one day at a time as some are better than others.

I still walk like I have something shoved up by backside, but little by little its getting better. Once I can start bending and twisting I will have more choices for exercise, but for now I am just going to walk and take it easy. This was definetly not a fun process.

Hoping to be somewhat back to my normal soon!

    Go for the swimming - it is way lower impact but you still can get that feeling of having done something great for your body!
