I have been blogging and tracking my food on another site and today realized the total stupidity of doing it there as it is not nearly as active or supportive as this site. So starting tomorrow I'll start tracking everything here and do my blogs.
I've lost a little over ten pounds in two months. I'm so happy about that. Usually it takes me six months to lose that amount. I think the biggest thing to effect this change, is that I have been faithfully tracking my food each day. It is amazing how doing that creates a sense of responsibility for what I'm eating. Without it it's like "What calories?" Now I have a much clearer sense of what those foods contain, and some were real surprises. I also joined myweigthlossteam.com which is a site where they put everyone on teams and your compete against another team each month. This is helpful for me because I have a sense of obligation to my team members to not let them down even if I would myself.
For my end of week review, lost half a pound. Realize I am slipping of the food logging and portion control and need pay attention to those things. Exercise is going pretty well.
Will try to make it to the pool next week.
