Frustrating Friday

I love to walk. Unfortunately my knees are suffering from the amount of walking I've been doing, and I'm under orders to walk less from my orthopedist. Thus I was bummed that I won't be able to participate in the SP fall virtual race that was just announced - I had fun training and participating in the last one.

Need to seek out some lower-impact cardio - my ortho mentioned biking and swimming as possibilities. I'll miss walking, though!

    I'm sorry to hear that you have to back off the walking but maybe it will only be for a little while and in the meantime swimming is an awesome exercise with so little impact on your joints and that might actually help you be able to return to walking more quickly by strengthening your muscles to be able to support your joints even better than before.
