Day 3 of 30-Day IsoGenix Cleanse

Sunday, August 14, 2011

Holy moses, I am detoxing, for sure. I hope. I am exhausted...and have a headache which I have had since late in Day 1. I guess my ritual of a coffee each morning and an Earl Grey tea each night really was a caffeine addiction. I just didn't think my body depended on it. I am looking forward to the day when I can report to you that my head no longer hurts, I am clear thinking and happy and have more energy than I can shake a stick at. That is what the Isagenix marketing tools tell me will happen. I am keeping the faith. Had some social calendar struggles yesterday and did succumb to a half glass of wine spritzer...no big deal, but still throwing it out there.

I bought Jillian's 30-day shred dvd, too and plan to do that daily during...or as close to daily as I can muster.

On another note...today I volunteered at the inaugural Barrie Half Marathon and 5-K race event. And can I just say it was incredibly nice to be on the other side of the fence for once...to be there for all the runners and offer support and encouragement. What a terrific event the organizers put on for the first year!

Sounds like you had a great time working the event. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hang in there getting over the caffeine addiction is well worth it if you can just hold out until the headache goes away. Good luck!

Headache is gone...certainly not from dehydration as I am drinking SO much water, but I do think it was just some toxin release and caffeine withdrawl effects. All good! emoticon

Good for you for volunteering! It is amazing what communities can pull off, working together. I hope your headache is not from dehydration, rather than caffeine withdrawal. Take care.
