You sound miserable! It takes a while for muscle relaxers to work, so do not get discouraged. And DO NOT get on that treadmill or bike until this has eased up a bit; you do not want to reinflame the area. I went for three weeks without exercising due to the heat (I walk outside for exercise) and I maintained the weight during that time. Take care of yourself. I had a pinched nerve but it hasn't come back since I got adjusted by the chiropractor. It can screw up all your plans for living!
One advice I would like to give you...drink a lot of water! I'm not a good drinker. I really like Lipton's citrus green tea..yeah I know it's not diet although it comes in diet. I dilute it with water, maybe half and half water and drink as much as you can. After a while I try to dilute as much as possible with water, enough that it's taste good to drink. Hope that helps you. Water is wonderful if you can drink it plain but I couldn't.
