Week 1 Sleep Challenge in the books...

Week 1 of the sleep challenge is complete and honestly, I didn't really change much in my life. I went to bed at 11:00 pretty much every night and I woke up at 6:30. I feel kinda sleepy when I first get up and most afternoons I feel like I need a nap. I did manage to stick to my sleep/ wake schedule during the week but blew it over the weekend and slept in on Saturday and Sunday. Then Sunday, I took a realllllyyyy long nap during the day.

I know that I need to get to bed earlier and I am not sure that will happen until the kids go back to school. (3 weeks but who's counting?) I also know that I will need to get up earlier so I can work out and shower before everyone else.

Speaking of working out, I haven't done that in a really long time and I am hoping to jump back into it when school starts. I also have not been tracking my food and that I am starting again today!!!

    Today is a good day for restarting. (maybe if I type it I'll really believe it.) I'm trying to get motivated for right now instead of waiting until school starts. Like you, I'm not wowed by the sleep changes. Some things - like crazy dreams for both me and the preschooler - feel way beyond my control. I really should go to bed earlier, though.
