Husband out of ICU

He's still bleeding though. He's received four blood transfusions and he's still anemic which means that the bleeding hasn't stopped. He's still in the DT's as well so they're still medicating him to control the tremors. I want them to look into his cardiac situation because his legs and feet are so swollen i think he has an enlarged heart. I found out that alcoholism can cause that. That gives him one more risk factor besides hypertension and heredity which he already has. He is always out of breath too. He is just so messed up physically it's going to be a long battle. Even though he claims he won't drink again because this ordeal has been too painful a couple people have mentioned that he'll forget just like we forget the pain of childbirth. I tasked him to write about the experience so when he feels the urge to drink he can read it and remember. He has agreed to go to rehab straight from the hospital. There are going to be lots of changes at the house too if he's going to live.
