It takes one..

It only takes ONE day of being on track to get my ball rollin again, and my attitude to change. And today was that day.
Yesterday, I spent the day at the fair, and I did great with food there too! My aunt, cousin and his friend and I go to the fair every year. My ENTIRE family used to go every year when we were younger, but now, we grab whoever we can from the fam and spend the day wandering around. We walked for 6 hours! The worst thing I had was a shot of cream cheese frosting, and had 3 beers. For dinner, I had a grilled chicken salad with hardly any dressing :)
Then..my aunt and I headed to see BLAKE SHELTON at the ampitheater at the fairgrounds. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE him (have been a fan since back in the day!) and he was AMAZING! It was SO much fun, and my aunt was the perfect concert mate! We had a BLAST.
Woke up this morning, and the scale was down 3 pounds from my explosive 153.8 from my weeks of junk and hardly any exercise. This morning, I was 150. So I felt good and felt like I could make today a good one.
PLUS, after all that walking yesterday, I did NOT have any knee pain yesterday OR today..yay!
So, I had a good breakfast, kept myself busy all day, had a light lunch and headed out and around again and then..around 6:30 (after a small dinner salad to hold me over) I headed to the gym to run on the treadmill. My trainer told me to go easy and try 1-2 miles and see how that went. I did 2 miles on a 1.5 incline and felt GREAT. I would have kept going, but I didnt want to go against what the trainer said..I wanted to burn more, so I did weights. Ended up burning 420 calories. Knee STILL feels just fine!
Since I had calories PLUS burned calories and should net 1200 cal, I headed to Daphnes Greek and got the grilled chicken pita (480 cal). Then, for dessert, I have Skinny Cow Milk Chocolate Cluster candies...delicious.
I am feeling good today and so glad I had a good day.
To be safe, I am icing the knee :) and going to have a repeat of today, tomorrow. Have a great night sparkpals!
