    Hey girlie!

    Sandy is SOOO right on about the nuts. I had to have make sure they weren't in the house. I WON'T tell you how I prepared them . . . because then you'd be tempted to try it . . . and I'd just be a stumbling block to you! lol Seriously, though . . . down the road when you can handle it . . . let me know and I'll tell you . . . uncontrollably good though. . . which tells you . . . not good. emoticon As for the fear of weigh in . . . if you really have been eating fairly "clean" and just trying one different thing added in etc. you don't have to worry. You've increased the amount of calories like you should. . . and if you just tried one thing . . . and you go up you know there's an issue with that for you. You can double check if there's anything "hidden" in it that you were unaware of etc. and odds are you won't go over your 2 pound range if you're monitoring on the lower end of that. Then just back off of it and eat really clean the next day and you'll adjust back. You know be experience now though that the steak day really does work (though it's hard to make it through the day until 6pm!) Though you DON'T want to be in a habit of needing one every few days, it's there if you need it. So you really DON'T have to live in fear. emoticon (but I get it . . . I felt apprehensive too in P3 and you may need to repost this to me in a few weeks! haha!) Hey! You're on Day 7! You're 1/3 of the way through it! AWESOME JOB!     Hang in there, Lisa. How important are the grams of fat as it related to HCG? I don't even look at this. It may be too late now that I'll be back to 3 weeks of Phase 2 in about 2 - 3 days. I can't wait . . . Phase 3 is too scary.

    What is your job? And why is the office so far away?! You know I have this HCG book that has a list of like every food and whether you can have that item on each phase. In the section on nuts, almost every single one is listed as "caution". That means you have to watch that item in that phase. Cashews are a NO for P3. Coconut: dried or fresh (unsweet) and flax seeds are a yes. Almonds are a caution as are peanuts. They are a Yes for the 2nd 3 weeks. . . Now my doc said I could have nuts once I started adding back in. I'm going to ask her today and show her this book. quite frankly I'm not a nut person so I probably won't want them anyways. I like peanuts and cashews the most. Since cashews are a flat out no. . . well then I guess I'll scratch that idea. lol. Can't wait to hear how the scale was today. I'm cranky that I don't get an email when you post a blog. I do for everyone else. :(

    Thanks Sandy - yes I think you're right. I kind of overdid the supply of nuts that I bought. I bought flax seed, pistachio (I haven't even opened up that bag because I'll know I won't stop), three bags of almonds (huge costco style - one raw one roasted, one sliced), two bags of almonds ground, a huge costco peanut unsalted, and two other types of nuts (walnuts and pecans I think). LOL...wow. yeah. I have them all in a bag tied away but I think I need to move them to a safe place.

    Littlelawyer - I have to weigh myself everyday for the next six weeks but I think it'll be something that I do moving forward. It's just easier to manage one day then one month or year...and thank you! I'm going to respond to your other question on your page.

    Hey I hear you on the almonds they are my favorite. I had to quit buying them. Maybe if you want something crunchy try celery that seems to work for me, it has enough fiber to cancel out the carbs. Try to not have nuts around and don't buy any that way you won't be tempted, maybe your brother can hide them from you.
    Sometimes your body is needing something nutritional that nuts have in them and that is why your so tempted by them.
    I munch on celery with fat free cream cheese or the laughing cow swiss triangles they are good for you in phase 3.
    Hang in there and check your vitamin and mineral intake and see if there is something that is low.

    I hate it when you eat your first meal really early then it throws the rest of the meals off for the day. Then you feel like you are hungry before you are supposed to be hungry. That happens to me often. lol I just started the HCG diet a couple of days ago, and I've found that I have to make myself go to bed at about midnight now (which is early for me) b/c I'm hungry lol.

    How long do you continue to weigh yourself everyday on the diet? Just curious. Keep up the good work!!!
