Healthy Snack Goal

Lately I've been hungry around 3:30pm. I eat a complete breakfast and lunch, but before dinner i'm hungry. So this week i'm going to try and eat a healthy snack before lunch. I purchased raisins, oranges, bananas and 100 calorie popcorn. Let's see if this helps, wish me luck.

    Irma, have you tried snacking on almonds. That works for me when I get that sudden surge of hunger. Or, I will drink a glass of water. Sometimes we think our bodies are craving food when in fact we are craving water. Just a thought! :)

    Sounds like you have got a good supply of healthy snacks!
    For a really filling snack I have slices of a Granny Smith apple with some peanut butter. I buy the Smart Balance peanut butter but I would like to try PB2. The Smart Balance butter and mayo are really good too.

    good idea to plan ahead...and great to be able to see what time of the day your weakness is...for me it is after dinner until bedtime. I started to drink a cup of herbal tea after dinner and that is helping some. Have a great week.

    a good snack I have is peanut butter crackers (180) and also special k crackers (90cals) with a string cheese (50)
