Catching up on your blogs! You look GREAT!!! So happy and healthy in this one. :) Can you send me the link that you mentioned? I think Sandy sent it to you is what you said? Funny thing one of the foods my Doc mentioned adding right away is nuts. But I see that they are a caution food really. Hmm. . . . 3465 days ago
You're so right Natalia - I've been like a kid in a candy factory since I got on phase III trying to make all the recipes and eat everything :) LOL I've calmed it down a notch and only taken on one new recipe a day...it's hard but I'm trying to resist the temptation since I've printed out like 50 different recipes for Phase III - and its only 21 days :) I can totally see myself living on phase III with an occassional day a week of Phase IV stuff. 3466 days ago
Hey girlie! Too cute! I am SOOO happy for you in P3 . . . ahh P3 I remember the days . . . Seriously, some of the cautions were for people who were still trying to eat as if they were on P2 during P3 and it sabatoged their efforts. Go ahead. Increase the calories. You also want to re-set it so that your calories are in the expected amount once you plan on moving on to P4 or the hypothalamus will re-set and you don't want to try to maintain at 800 or 900 calories a day! As you do P3 some of your posts sound as if you're thinking of a variation of Atkins, as well as looking at carb counts . . . so not to overwhelm you but you may also want to just refer to Michi's Ladder. I found in P3 some of my triggers were nuts, but ALSO some fruit . . . for example dates are not necessarily what I should have introduced as quickly as say blueberries. It might help. Remember, while you're increasing the calories, try to reintroduce different things one at a time so that if there's a sudden spike in weight, you can isolate what that trigger was vs. having 5 new things one day and then you don't know what impacted you! Just know if you need to . . . steak days really work! 3467 days ago
